If you are looking for a Vaudreuil-Dorion dispensary, Bear’s Den Cannabis is just across Lac des Deux Montagnes in Kanesatake, near Oka. We are a single, Indigenous-women-owned shop at 1510B Rang Ste-Philomène, and we have served shoppers from Vaudreuil-Soulanges since 2018.
We are not in Vaudreuil-Dorion and we do not deliver there. What we offer is a full counter, phone ordering, and in-store pickup on the north side of the lake.
Getting here from Vaudreuil-Dorion, honestly
The lake sits between us, so how long the trip takes depends on whether the ferry is running.
- When the Oka-Hudson ferry is running: drive to the Hudson dock, cross to Oka (a crossing of about 2 km), and we are roughly 10 minutes from the landing. The ferry is seasonal, it closes for winter, and it has had long interruptions and reduced sailing days in recent seasons, so check the operator’s current schedule before you leave. Our Hudson page covers that side of the crossing.
- Year-round by road: take Autoroute 40 east over the Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge, Autoroute 13 north into Laval, Autoroute 640 west to its end, then Route 344 west through Oka, where it becomes Rang Ste-Philomène. That is roughly 65 to 80 km, about an hour to an hour and a quarter, more if the bridge is backed up.
Shoppers from Saint-Lazare, Pincourt, Île-Perrot and Rigaud make the same choice. You can get directions to 1510B Rang Ste-Philomène on Google Maps, which will pick the faster option on the day.
A weed store worth the crossing
Plenty of people searching for a weed store or dispensary near Vaudreuil-Dorion just want a calm counter, fair prices and a straight answer. That is how we run our shop: no upselling, and a team that asks what you want first. Learn more about Bear’s Den.
Vape pens and disposables
Our THC vape pens include Drizzle Switch, Heisenberg Extractions and Pegasus Live, and our disposable vapes are ready to use straight out of the box.
Edibles
Our cannabis edibles include gummies, chocolate, cookies, hot chocolate and drink mixes. They take longer to work than smoking, so start low and go slow. For health questions, please talk with a licensed practitioner.
Flower, hash and more
Indica, sativa and hybrid flower, pre-rolls, traditional hash, concentrates and CBD are all on our full cannabis menu.
Hours, phone orders and pickup
Hours: Open daily. Monday to Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. The ferry keeps shorter hours than we do, so if you plan to cross back by boat, check its last departure.
Phone orders: Call (866) 306-2882 Ext. 2 to check stock and set your order aside, especially if you are timing a ferry.
Pickup only: Orders are picked up in person in Kanesatake. We serve adults 21 and over and ask for valid photo ID.
Other options near Vaudreuil-Dorion
The SQDC is Quebec’s government cannabis retailer, and there are other shops in the region too. We respect that people compare.
What we offer Vaudreuil-Soulanges shoppers is simple: an Indigenous-women-owned counter, fair everyday pricing and a team that has been here since 2018.
The legal picture, told straight
The SQDC is Quebec’s only government-authorized cannabis retailer. In Quebec, the minimum age is 21, public possession is limited to 30 grams of dried cannabis or its equivalent, and home cultivation is prohibited.
Bear’s Den operates outside that system, under asserted Indigenous-sovereignty principles on Sovereign Kanesatake Mohawk Territory. That is our own position. We are not the SQDC, and we do not speak for federal or provincial authorities. Please never drive high.
