Stepping up from 20mg

Moving from 20mg to 100mg is a five-fold jump, and there is no in-between capsule in this line. If you are on the 20mg sativa capsules and want more, talk to us and to a licensed practitioner before switching. The 100mg capsule is only for people who already know a much larger amount suits them.

RSO is usually THC-rich, so a 100mg capsule should be treated as a strong THC edible. Read the label for the exact THC content.

For context, Health Canada suggests new users look for edibles with 2.5mg of THC or less. A 100mg capsule of a THC-rich oil can hold many times that amount and cannot be split into a starter portion, so this is not a product for anyone new to edibles or to RSO.

A note on tolerance

Tolerance to THC builds with regular use, which is why a 100mg capsule exists for people with a high, established tolerance. Tolerance also drops after a break. If you have stopped for a while, do not go straight back to 100mg; restart at a lower strength.

Expect a long window. Health Canada notes eaten cannabis can take 30 minutes to 2 hours to start, up to 4 hours to reach full effect, and effects can last up to 24 hours, so take it when you have nothing scheduled afterward. If you ever feel you have taken too much, stay somewhere calm with someone you trust, drink water, and seek medical help if you feel unwell.
