What makes rosin “live”

“Live” means the plants were frozen right after harvest instead of dried and cured. That keeps more of the fresh aroma. Live rosin is then made by washing that frozen material into hash and pressing it with heat, no solvents.

The result is a concentrate known for strong flavour. Inside a rocket, it adds strength and a fresher, brighter taste than hash alone.

Live rosin vs live resin

Getting the best from it

Light slowly and evenly and use short pulls; heavy pulls burn off the flavour that makes live rosin worth choosing. Rotate the rocket as you go and relight gently if it goes out.
