What pressed hash is

Pressed hash is made by collecting resin glands from the cannabis plant and pressing them into a solid block or slab. Heat and pressure bind the resin together, which gives the firm texture and helps the piece keep its aroma.

Compared with hand-rolled styles like temple ball, pressed hash is usually harder and drier to the touch. That is a style difference, not a quality one.

How to break up firm hash

• Warm a small corner gently between your fingers, then crumble it
• Shave thin flakes with a clean blade if it is too firm to crumble
• Sprinkle a small amount over flower in a joint or bowl

Start with a very small amount and go slow, especially if you usually smoke only flower.

Concentrates are generally stronger than flower. Adults only, valid photo ID required. Skip it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or plan to drive, and take health questions to a licensed practitioner; we make no medical claims.

Storage

Wrap it in parchment and keep it in a sealed container somewhere cool and dark. Air and heat dry pressed hash out and dull the aroma.

Lithium hash suits experienced hash smokers who like a classic, firm texture and a strong aroma. If you are new to concentrates, start with flower or ask us for a gentler option first; we would rather you build up slowly.
