JVCKS Variety Drink Mixes

JVCKS Variety Drink Mixes are THC-infused powdered drink mixes that stir into a glass of water, so you can have your edible as a cold drink. It is the same JVCKS brand behind the freezies on our shelf, in a format you mix yourself.

How to mix it

Empty the pack into water and stir or shake until it dissolves, following the package directions. Use a cup with a lid or a bottle you can label, and finish or store it the same day.

A mixed drink is easy to mistake for plain juice. Keep it out of shared fridges and away from children, guests and pets.

Drinking it at a sensible pace

Think of it as an edible, not a soft drink. Sip part, then wait. Health Canada explains that cannabis you swallow can take 30 minutes to 2 hours to take effect, and effects can last up to 24 hours. For people new to edibles, Health Canada suggests products with 2.5mg of THC or less.

• Check the THC on the pack first; if one pack is well above 2.5mg and you are new, choose a lower-dose product instead
• Wait at least two hours before mixing another
• No alcohol alongside it, and no driving afterward

Who it is for

Drink mixes suit people who dislike the taste of gummies or want something to bring on a hot day. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or managing a health condition, speak with a doctor or pharmacist first.

Practical tips

A few things help with this format. Mix it in a smaller glass at first so the drink is not too diluted to enjoy slowly. Shake well, because powder can settle as it sits. And make only what you plan to drink that day.

If you are hosting, never mix a THC drink into a shared pitcher or punch bowl. Pour it into individual, labelled cups for the people who chose it, and offer plain drinks to everyone else.

Keep unopened packs dry and sealed, in a cupboard out of reach of children and pets.
