JVCKS – Vanilla Root Beer Freezie

THC Freezie – 50mg

The JVCKS Vanilla Root Beer Freezie is a THC-infused ice pop with 50mg of THC, flavoured like a root beer float. It is the one JVCKS freezie on our shelf that is not fruit, which makes it the pick for people who find sour or citrus edibles too sharp.

Freezie details

  • Brand: JVCKS
  • Flavour: vanilla root beer
  • THC: 50mg per freezie
  • Format: freeze-it-yourself ice pop

Freezing and serving

Freeze it flat for several hours until solid. Let it sit out for a minute before opening so it is easier to bite into pieces. Once a freezie has melted, it is hard to split evenly, so open it when you are ready to have some.

Splitting 50mg

Fifty milligrams is a high-dose edible. Health Canada suggests that newer users look for products with 2.5mg of THC or less, and a 50mg freezie cannot be cut that finely with any accuracy, so this is not a product for beginners. Experienced adults who portion it should cut the frozen freezie through the wrapper with clean scissors, eat one section, and refreeze the rest right away. Label the leftovers.

Effects from edibles can take up to two hours to start, so wait before reaching for another piece. Do not drive after eating it, and skip alcohol.

Keep it out of the family freezer

Our biggest freezie tip: never store THC freezies loose in a freezer that children use. Keep them in a sealed, labelled bag or box on a high shelf, away from pets.

Anyone pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication or with a health condition should check with a doctor or pharmacist first.

Other JVCKS flavours

Want fruit instead? Try the Hippy Lemonade or the Sour Blue Raspberry. All flavours sit under THC freezies.

Why choose root beer

The other JVCKS freezies we list are lemonade, sour blue raspberry and fruit punch. Vanilla root beer is the soda-float option for anyone who would rather skip fruit and sour candy flavours.

Thawing and texture

If the freezie is too hard to cut, let it rest on the counter for a minute or two, then cut through the wrapper. Return the unused sections to the freezer straight away so they stay solid and easy to portion later.
