Freezie or gummy?

How does a freezie compare to a gummy? Both are edibles, so both are slow to start and long to last. The difference is mostly practical:

• A gummy usually lists a dose per piece; a freezie is one 50mg unit you split yourself
• A freezie has to stay frozen, so it is less portable
• Gummies are usually stored at room temperature; a freezie lives in the freezer

If you want easy, pre-measured doses, a gummy may suit you better. If you want something cold that you portion into sections yourself, the freezie works well.

How to have it

Cut the frozen freezie into sections through the wrapper, eat one, and put the rest straight back in the freezer. Health Canada suggests new users start with 2.5mg of THC or less, which is one twentieth of this freezie, so newer users should cut very small sections. Effects can take 30 minutes to 2 hours to start and up to 4 hours to peak, so wait at least two hours before having more. No driving and no alcohol alongside it.
