JVCKS – Funky Fruit Punch Freezie

The JVCKS Funky Fruit Punch Freezie is a mixed-fruit ice pop with 50mg of THC, the classic sweet option in the JVCKS line. Sweet rather than sour, it is a good first freezie for experienced edible users who have not tried the format.

What it is

• Brand: JVCKS
• Flavour: fruit punch
• THC: 50mg per freezie
• Format: ice pop; keep frozen

Choosing a JVCKS flavour

• Sweet and fruity: Funky Fruit Punch (this one)
• Tart and citrus: Hippy Lemonade
• Mouth-puckering sour: Sour Blue Raspberry
• Not fruit at all: Vanilla Root Beer

Every flavour has the same 50mg of THC, so pick on taste.

What to expect, honestly

A freezie is an edible, so it behaves like one. Health Canada says swallowed cannabis can take 30 minutes to 2 hours to start working and can last up to 24 hours. Health Canada suggests new consumers look for edibles with 2.5mg of THC or less. Even a quarter of this 50mg freezie is 12.5mg, so it is not a beginner product.

Cut it while frozen, return the rest to the freezer, and wait before having more. Do not drive, and avoid alcohol.

Safe storage

Keep freezies in a sealed, labelled container on a high freezer shelf, away from children and pets. People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication or managing a health condition should talk to a doctor or pharmacist first.

A good first freezie

If you have had gummies before but never a freezie, this flavour is an easy start. It tastes familiar and it is not sour. The main habit to learn is cutting it into sections before you start, rather than deciding halfway through.

Set a timer for at least two hours before you think about more, since effects can take up to 4 hours to peak.

How long it lasts in the freezer

Sealed and kept frozen, freezies keep well. Once opened, finish or refreeze the remaining sections right away and label the bag clearly with the THC amount.

Not sure how a freezie compares with the rest of our edibles? Our team can walk you through the options by phone, from gummies with a set dose per piece to drinks you mix yourself, so you leave with the format that fits how you like to unwind.
