What THCA is
THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is the acid form of THC that cannabis plants produce. In raw form it is not the same molecule as THC, but heat converts much of it into THC through a process called decarboxylation.
A vape heats its oil, so in practice a THCA vape delivers THC. Treat it exactly as you would any THC vape, with the same caution and the same pacing.
Health Canada’s packaging and labelling guide for cannabis products reflects this: total THC on a regulated label is calculated taking into account the potential for THCA to convert into THC. In other words, THCA is counted as THC, not as something separate from it.
How a dual-chamber vape works
Dual-chamber devices generally keep two oils apart, and many let you draw from one chamber, the other, or both together. Setups vary by brand, so ask us how this one switches before your first use.
Because two chambers can mean double the intake if you draw from both, start with one chamber, one short pull, and wait several minutes before going again.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
This is a large-capacity device best suited to adults who already know how THC vapes affect them. New vapers are better off with a smaller single-chamber pen first.
We make no medical claims about any vape. If you have a health condition or take medication, talk to a licensed practitioner first. Skip it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or about to drive. Adults only; valid photo ID required.
