CBD-only or CBD and THC?

Part of the AKI line contains THC as well as CBD, such as the AKI cream, small and the AKI Ultra Strength Spray. Some customers prefer to keep THC out of their routine entirely, for work, drug testing or personal reasons. For them, a CBD-only gel is the simpler choice.

We do not make claims about how much of either cannabinoid passes through the skin. What we can tell you is what the label lists.

Applying it

• Use on clean, dry, unbroken skin
• Start with a small amount and rub it in fully
• Patch-test first if you have sensitive skin
• Wash your hands afterward and avoid eyes and mouth

Making a bottle last

A 100ml bottle goes a long way when you use a thin layer. Squeeze out a small amount, spread it evenly, and add more only if you need it. Keep the cap clean and closed so the gel does not dry out at the opening.

Store it at room temperature, out of direct sun and away from heat, and check the label for an expiry date. If the gel separates or changes smell, do not use it.

If you are comparing topicals from several brands, look at the total CBD and the bottle size together. Dividing one by the other gives a rough amount per ml, which makes products of different sizes easier to compare. For this gel, that works out to about 25mg of CBD per ml if evenly mixed.
