If you are looking for a Laval dispensary or a weed store near Laval, Bear’s Den Cannabis is the Indigenous-women-owned shop within an easy drive of Laval, at 1510B Rang Ste-Philomène in Kanesatake, near Oka. We are not in Laval and we do not deliver there. We are one store, open since 2018, with a wide menu, fair everyday pricing and a team that takes the time to help.
From Laval-Ouest, Sainte-Dorothée, Fabreville, Chomedey, Vimont or Duvernay, the trip is a straightforward run west to Lac des Deux Montagnes, with no city parking to deal with.
Getting here from Laval
From the west end of Laval, cross the Rivière des Mille Îles on Route 148 (Pont Arthur-Sauvé) into Saint-Eustache, then take Autoroute 640 west to its end and Route 344 west into Oka, or follow Route 344 along the lake through Deux-Montagnes and Pointe-Calumet. West of Oka village, Route 344 becomes Rang Ste-Philomène, and our shop is on it. From Chomedey, Vimont, Duvernay or central Laval, most routes take Autoroute 13 north to Autoroute 640 west, then the same Route 344.
Plan on roughly 35 to 45 minutes from Laval-Ouest or Fabreville, 45 minutes to an hour from Sainte-Dorothée, Chomedey or Vimont, and about an hour from Duvernay and the east end, longer at rush hour. Parking is free, right at our door. Get directions from Laval to Bear’s Den.
What Laval shoppers come in for
CBD for Laval shoppers
A lot of searches from Laval are for CBD, including people looking for a magasin CBD in Laval, and it is a category we take seriously. Our CBD products include a broad-spectrum tincture, CBD capsules and tablets, CBD topicals and CBD chocolate, and our CBD gummies come in several labelled strengths for people who want something measured and easy to carry.
We describe each product by its format and the milligrams listed on the label, and we leave health advice to the professionals. If you have a health question, please speak with a licensed practitioner before you shop.
Edibles
Our cannabis edibles run from gummies and chocolate to cookies, hot chocolate mixes and snacks, in low and higher strengths. Edibles take longer to kick in than smoking or vaping, so our team always suggests a small first serving and plenty of patience before taking more.
Flower, hash, vapes and the rest of the menu
We also carry indica, sativa and hybrid flower, pre-rolls and infused pre-rolls, hash, concentrates and vape pens. You can browse the full Bear’s Den menu before you leave Laval, so you know what you are driving in for.

SQDC in Laval, and why we think the drive is worth it
Laval shoppers often search for SQDC stores in Vimont, Laval-Ouest and other neighbourhoods. The SQDC is Quebec’s government cannabis retailer and it has several outlets in Laval; its own store finder is the place to check their addresses and hours.
What we offer is different: an Indigenous-women-owned shop, fair everyday pricing, a menu that covers CBD, edibles, flower, hash and vapes in one stop, and staff who ask what you are looking for instead of upselling. We think that is worth the trip along the lake.
The legal picture, told straight
In Quebec, the SQDC is the only government-authorized cannabis retailer. Under Quebec’s cannabis rules, the minimum age is 21, the public possession limit is 30 grams of dried cannabis or its equivalent, and home cultivation is prohibited. Quebec also has zero tolerance for driving with any detectable cannabis in your saliva.
Bear’s Den operates outside that provincial system, under asserted Indigenous-sovereignty principles on Sovereign Kanesatake Mohawk Territory. That is our own position. We are not the SQDC, we are not part of its framework, and we do not speak for federal or provincial authorities. Please never drive high, including on the way back to Laval.
