What Oka and Kanesatake shoppers come in for

Vape pens and disposables

Vapes are a big part of what people around Oka look for, so we keep a deep range of THC vape pens, from rechargeable pens to dual-flavour devices, with brands like Drizzle Switch, Heisenberg Extractions and Pegasus Live on our shelves.

Many of our French-speaking customers ask for a “wax pen jetable.” Plenty of shoppers use “wax pen” for any THC vape pen, and “jetable” means disposable: a pen that is ready to use out of the box, with nothing to fill or swap. Our disposable vapes include Ghost Factory, Pegasus Live and Drizzle Switch devices. If you are new to vaping, tell us, and we will point you to a simple device and suggest one or two small puffs to start.

Hash

Oka hash shoppers tend to know what they want. Our hash selection covers traditional styles such as blonde and red Lebanese, temple ball and hunter hash. Ask our team about texture and aroma.

Edibles

Our cannabis edibles include gummies, chocolate, cookies, hot chocolate and drink mixes. Health Canada notes that edibles can take 30 minutes to 2 hours to begin working, and up to 4 hours for the full effect, so we always recommend starting low and going slow. For any health question, please speak with a licensed practitioner.

Flower, pre-rolls and the full menu

We also carry indica, sativa and hybrid flower, pre-rolls and infused pre-rolls, concentrates and CBD options. You can browse everything on our full cannabis menu before you head over.

Getting here from Oka, Pointe-Calumet, Saint-Joseph-du-Lac and Deux-Montagnes

From the village of Oka we are a short drive, usually about 10 minutes. From Pointe-Calumet, Saint-Joseph-du-Lac and Deux-Montagnes, follow Route 344 west along Lac des Deux Montagnes through Oka. Just past the village, Route 344 becomes Rang Ste-Philomène, so you simply stay on it until you reach 1510B. From Saint-Eustache and Mirabel, take Autoroute 640 west to its end and join Route 344.

Our Pointe-Calumet page has more detail for lakeside drivers, and you can get directions to 1510B Rang Ste-Philomène straight from Google Maps.

Comparing shops in the Oka area

People comparing the area often look up other names too, such as Ganja Nation, Le Spot and Blaze, and the SQDC is Quebec’s government cannabis retailer. We respect that you shop around.

What we offer is consistent: an Indigenous-women-owned shop, fair everyday pricing, a team that asks what you want instead of upselling, and a counter that has been here since 2018. We think that is worth the stop on Rang Ste-Philomène.

The legal picture, told straight

In Quebec, the SQDC is the only government-authorized cannabis retailer. Under Quebec’s cannabis rules, the minimum age is 21, the public possession limit is 30 grams of dried cannabis or its equivalent, the limit at home is 150 grams per residence, and home cultivation is prohibited.

Bear’s Den operates outside that provincial system, under asserted Indigenous-sovereignty principles on Sovereign Kanesatake Mohawk Territory. That is our own position. We are not the SQDC, we are not part of its framework, and we do not speak for federal or provincial authorities. Please never drive high.
